My mind is doubly blown! Guess I'll have to think of an extra neat idea for Wintersday then. I still can't believe someone else thought up and implemented the same idea x_x

The entrant who plagiarized another person's artwork got disqualified.
Congrats again to the winners!

Hehe presentation is everything. Got it.
I got an HM tho, so I'm happy .
I said it many times before, over msn/gw/nolani, but GZ to Tzu. She deserves it. No QQing about costumes winning mmkay? She definitely put a lot of work into it (and burned herself like 2-3 times x_x), and the process was just as creative as doing any other form of art.
I was actually kinda surprised to see my entry on there, because it really was a pretty vague concept. I wanted to to illustrate Zhaitan destroying Lion's Arch on Halloween Eve, and the Mad King swooping in to save the day. I think all I accomplished was drawing a badass dragon xD.
But definitely, ANet seems to prefer character art over scenes. I'll keep that in mind for wintersday :P
But yea GZ Gurus, we got 6/19 spots. WE SHOOT FOR ALL 20 ON WINTERSDAY.

I really think there should be more honorable mentions and prizes, if they got hundreds of entries and there was so much good stuff.
I'm seeing a lot of other artwork that I think really deserves a small prize, like that siege turtle and some of the drawings.

Maybe the person drew a picture and took it to a tattoo artist to get it printed on him? That's the same as drawing any picture, no?
Anyway, gratz to the winners. I couldn't think of anything neat to do so I didn't even enter. Thinking about doing something for Wintersday though.

Btw I didn't win ( ), but congrats to the winners, and Tzu, like I told you before, your costume is amazing!
Here's the link to my entry if anyone wants to check it out: http://artzone.daz3d.com/azfiles/gal...yuyf5-full.jpg

Am I the only one who is having a hard time understanding the cardboard flesh golem? Like... I can't figure out what angle I'm supposed to be looking at it. It's like those magic eye pictures. I just don't see it.
Edit: Eh sorta see it now. Kinda weird that the largest picture of it is from behind and of his arm.

i hate to say i told you so,so i wont. i knew they would this contest would have the same thing happen(stolen art) and i was right. i loved the jora costume and if i had the figure i would wear that. xD but i think a pic aka the rt with the tot bags should have gotten first place over the cotumes. cause to me art it isnt something you wear but what you draw. but thats my opnion. xD and grtz to the other winners.
